About Journal

International Journal of Anesthesiology and Practice (IJAP) is an international scholarly journal that publishes original research on a range of anesthesia-related topics, such as surgery, pharmacokinetics, ethical aspects associated with anesthesia care, preoperative and postoperative considerations, anesthetic pharmacology, anesthetic issues, anesthesia management, complicating factors such as coexisting disease, and concerns that anesthesiologists have to contend with on a daily basis.

This journal is dedicated to encouraging research in the fields of fundamental, translational, and clinical sciences, as well as in clinical practice and education and training for guiding therapy in the domain of anesthesiology.

IJAP publishes original articles, reviews, short communications, and letters to the editor. Case reports that present unique cases in intensive care, perioperative medicine, emergency medicine, and pain management are especially welcome.

As this Journal aims to further the care of patients by reporting fundamental advances in the above mentioned clinical disciplines, preference is given to experimental investigations or clinical observations in humans, and to laboratory research of clinical relevance.
