General Reproductive System: General Reproductive System refers to the organs and structures responsible for producing, nurturing, and transporting reproductive cells in males and females. It supports processes such as fertilization, pregnancy, and hormonal regulation. This system plays a key role in human reproduction and sexual function.

Male Reproductive System: Male Reproductive System consists of organs responsible for producing, storing, and delivering sperm for reproduction. It includes the testes, ducts, glands, and penis, all working together to support fertilization. This system also produces hormones, mainly testosterone, essential for male development and reproductive functions.

Female Reproductive System: Female Reproductive System consists of organs involved in producing eggs, supporting fertilization, and nurturing a developing fetus. It includes the ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, and vagina. This system also regulates menstrual cycles and produces essential reproductive hormones.

Reproductive Physiology: Reproductive Physiology is the study of how the reproductive organs and hormones function in both males and females. It explains processes such as gamete production, hormonal regulation, fertilization, pregnancy, and childbirth. This field helps understand normal reproductive function and related disorders.

Endocrinology of Reproduction: Endocrinology of Reproduction is the study of hormones that regulate reproductive processes in males and females. It focuses on how hormones control puberty, menstrual cycles, sperm production, pregnancy, and fertility. This field is essential for understanding reproductive health and hormonal disorders.

Gametogenesis (Spermatogenesis, Oogenesis): Gametogenesis (Spermatogenesis, Oogenesis) is the biological process through which reproductive cells—sperm in males and eggs in females—are produced. Spermatogenesis occurs in the testes and forms millions of sperm, while oogenesis occurs in the ovaries and produces mature eggs. These processes are essential for sexual reproduction and fertilization.

Fertility & Infertility: Fertility & Infertility refer to the ability or inability of an individual or couple to conceive a child after regular, unprotected intercourse. Fertility depends on healthy reproductive organs, hormones, and gamete function. Infertility may result from medical, hormonal, genetic, or lifestyle factors affecting either partner.

Reproductive Health: Reproductive Health refers to the physical, mental, and social well-being related to the reproductive system and its functions. It includes safe sexual practices, fertility management, maternal health, and prevention of reproductive disorders. Good reproductive health ensures informed choices and healthy reproductive outcomes.

Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART): Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) refers to medical techniques used to help individuals or couples achieve pregnancy when natural conception is difficult. It includes methods like IVF, ICSI, and egg or sperm donation. ART supports fertility by manipulating eggs, sperm, or embryos outside the body.

Reproductive Aging: Reproductive Aging refers to the natural decline in reproductive capacity that occurs with age in both males and females. In women, it involves reduced ovarian reserve and menopause, while in men it includes gradual decreases in sperm quality. This aging process affects fertility, hormone levels, and reproductive health.
